Grade 8 Spanish I La Fecha: El lunes, el 2 de noviembre de 2015 Trabajo para Entregar:Nada La Frase del Día:Hoy es el segundo día de Los Días de los Muertos en México. Muchas personas van a ir al cementerio con sus familias. Las Metas: Assessment: Students will be evaluated on their ability to discuss class subjects, class objects, places within the school, schedules, obligations, time, feelings, location, and frequency. Culture: Students will acquire new vocabulary and understanding for the Day of the Dead Celebration. They will use Spanish vocabulary and visual illustrations to depict common traditions and cultural perspectives regarding the holiday.
La Agenda de Clase: 1. Students will be allowed to finish the writing portion of the exam. Students are not allowed to go back to the vocabulary and grammar sections of the exam unless we spoke Friday and circled areas permitted for return.
2. Once you are finished with the exam, read through the Days of the Dead reading packet. Explain each item on the list and how it relates to the holiday. Each term is written in Spanish but you should write in English. Please give detailed information for each topic, I am not looking for a one word translation. If you see a date on the list, explain what happens on that day and describe the festivities.
